No idea if I got the job or not, but today’s employer interview made an impression on my heart, masha’Allah, alhumdulillah, tabarak’Allah, insha’Allah

 

 

It made me realize not everyone’s going to be a douche dirtbag dink downer

 

 

There will be kind individuals, like you, who see my heart not just my hijab, alhumdulillah

 

 

It’s important to capture these positive moments too in your life

 

 

Just as there are iceholes out there, there are also kindfulls of yellow flowers. Insha’Allah. Alhumdulillah.

 

 

I couldn’t have done it without all of you angels lifting me up with your wings of love and kindness. May God reward you immensely in success and happiness here and in heaven. :D

    • Awww.. thank you! I’m feeling better as this was a nice intro as to what a ‘normal interview looks like’.

      Although, as my test question, I asked HR, “are reasonable religious requests accommodated”, and he answered, “yes, some choose to pray in a corner, or under a staircase.”

      Umm…..

      • Thank you so much! I’ve felt badly for being amiss! It’s been so busy and even camp July 5-8th means I’ll be having to catch up. I’m sure it’s just the summer and my job searching for souls that I can work with. I have another interview Monday to prepare for. Part-time, but hopefully full time loving support!     • Awww.. thank you! One of the lady bosses seems a bit nutty, so I’m okay if I don’t. :D Maybe even relieved. :D Besides, I realized that there are other jobs out there! Wowee! I applied to some others. Whatever God thinks is Best. And I have all of YOU to support me. So really, I’m invincible. :D Insha’Allah. :D Ameen.

  12. Just remember what my wise old grandmother said when I was trying to get a job: “The more jobs you apply for, the more job interviews you’ll get, and the more job interviews you get, the likelier it is that you’ll get a job.” That was 39 years ago. It still holds today.

And my correction, it’s called Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund amongst many other things Morgan Livingstone is involved with for cancer kids including a private practice as she originally started from Princess Margaret Hospital, Magic Castle or care for cancer kids. :D She’s also looked into Daisy Funds for Kenya kids too :D

    • HHAHA.. YUP! I’m sure I have mixed something or other in me, but I”m Chinese! :D Convert too… So it’s a bit strange to people. I culture shock them all the time with my Canadian English, Cantonese accuracy, and tall stature. HAHAHA Masha’Allah :D
